In search of a better life for his young family, Zebby Sulecki immigrated to the United States from Poland in the early 1980’s. He quickly found work and established a residential painting company rooted in his desire for excellent craftsmanship and extraordinary loyalty to team members, customers and his new-found community. The first building was acquired in Newtown Square, PA.

The business quickly grew and Zebby added Commercial Painting services in 1993. Zebby’s continuous quest for innovation and best practices led him to offer wall covering, and specialty treatment and to develop an expertise in acoustic ceiling and tile installation services. Zebby, the team, and his family enjoyed and valued the freedom and opportunity to grow and thrive.

With careful and intentional planning Zebby and the emerging leadership and management team recognized the opportunity to offer a unique partnership to the construction community by adding drywall and carpentry services. Residential painting was no longer offered, and the service territory now encompassed Central and Eastern PA, New Jersey and Delaware.

The 2010’s brought sustained growth in the Coatings and Carpentry Divisions. With gratitude for decades of partnerships in the construction community, a 12,000 square foot building, including an in-house production facility, apprenticeship, a safety training center, and a company headquarters was opened in Broomall, PA.

Zebby brought 20-year team member, James Kucera, Chief Operating Officer and Zebby’s son, Martin Sulecki, Coatings Division Manager, into minority ownership in 2017 to ensure the long-term sustainability and viability of Zebby Sulecki, Inc.
